[A REVISAR] Accessible false ceilings: concealed suspension grid
When installing any model of accessible false ceiling, a metal structure anchored to the building’s original ceiling is suspended at the required distance. In a previous post we explained that there are two standard systems for classifying this type of structure: concealed suspension grids for false ceilings and exposed suspension grids for false ceilings.
In this post we will focus on the concealed suspension grid: what it consists of and the advantages of installing this particular structure.
Concealed suspension grid
In this system, as its name suggests, the profiles supporting the false ceiling are hidden from view. They therefore play no aesthetic role and serve a purely structural function.
The main advantages of this system include:
- Continuous ceilings with a monolithic appearance, as the suspension grid is completely hidden.
- Accessibility at any point. Despite the seamless ceiling appearance achieved with this suspension grid, each tile can be removed wherever necessary, giving access to the plenum without any difficulty.
- Secure ceilings. The tiles are held perfectly in place thanks to the clip-in profile.
- The concealed suspension grid gives the false ceiling system rigidity.
- High adaptability to different spaces thanks to its multiple formats.
